Purchased the recommended staples and other brands as well. It jams 9 out 10 times.

It is a good Stapler to use for large stacks of paper, hardly ever jams and if it does it is easy to remove the jam. The only problem we have had has been with the part that holds the staples in the stapler. The back clip is plastic and breaks off easily. Be carful when reloading staples.
